KLB Group and Employees Join Hands to Support Communities Affected by Typhoon No. 3 (YAGI)
On October 1, 2024, at the headquarters of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front (VFF), representatives of KLB Group’s leadership donated VND 316,700,000 to the relief fund for communities affected by Typhoon No. 3 (Yagi). This act reflected the Group’s deep desire to support those in need and help affected residents recover and rebuild their lives. The donation was gratefully received by Ms. Trương Thị Ngọc Ánh, Vice President of the Central Committee of the VFF.
In recent days, Northern provinces of Vietnam have suffered from severe storms and flooding, causing significant damage to lives and property. Thousands of homes were damaged, and many families lost their livelihoods as crops and fields were destroyed, completely disrupting their daily lives. In response, with a spirit of compassion and social responsibility, KLB Group and its employees quickly mobilized resources to contribute and support affected communities in overcoming the challenges brought by natural disasters.
KLB’s contribution is not just a charitable act, but also a reflection of the Vietnamese tradition of “mutual support and solidarity.” Every donation from KLB embodies deep sympathy and compassion for the hardships people are facing, sending a strong message: We are together in times of adversity.
At the donation ceremony, Mr. Bùi Trọng Tấn, Chairman and CEO of KLB Group, shared his heartfelt thoughts:
“Witnessing the devastating aftermath of Typhoon No. 3 and the floods through media coverage, we were truly heartbroken. Responding to the call from the Vietnam Fatherland Front, KLB Group and all our employees wanted to contribute a small part to help affected families overcome hardship, repair the damages, and quickly return to a stable life.”
Ms. Trương Thị Ngọc Ánh, Vice President of the Central Committee of the VFF, expressed her sincere gratitude to the KLB leadership and employees. She emphasized:
“KLB’s timely support is a noble gesture, embodying the spirit of ‘the healthy leaves protect the tattered ones’ – a longstanding value of the Vietnamese people. In difficult times like these, unity and sharing are powerful forces that uplift affected communities and help them endure the harsh challenges of natural disasters.”
She also affirmed that the VFF would ensure that the contributions are transparently and effectively distributed to those in need.
This event once again reaffirmed KLB Group’s commitment to corporate social responsibility. Beyond business growth, the Group consistently walks alongside the community, willingly sharing in hardships and helping to build a better society. This embodies the Group’s guiding philosophy of “Integrity and Compassion.”
In the time ahead, KLB will continue to closely monitor the situation and organize more meaningful initiatives to assist disaster-affected provinces, helping them stabilize their lives, resume production, and rebuild a hopeful future.
